Five researchers from Lund University and the University of Geneva has bedn granted altogether 200 000 Euro from Bo & Kerstin Hjelt Foundation for type 2 diabetes.

Dr Christelle Borel, University of Geneva: "Decipher single-cell transcriptomes of human pancreatic islets in non-diabetic and diabetic individuals" (CHF 63 000)
Prof Michelangelo Foti, University of Geneva: "miRNA-21 in obesity, insulin resistance and diabetes" (CHF 37 000)
