Current project

Identification of novel genetic variants increasing risk of diabetes - studies in families and human islets:

  • Sequencing of the exome/whole genome in unique families showing linkage to a certain chromosomal region.
  • Exome sequencing of families with extremes of quantitative traits.
  • Exome and RNA sequencing to identify allele specific expression in human islets.
